It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended for various bead weaving and jewelry making projects. S-lon Fire comes in 4 sizes: 4lb. test with a .005in/.12mm diameter, 6lb. test with a .006?/.15mm diameter, 8lb. test with a .007in/.17mm diameter and 10lb. test with a .008?/.20mm diameter.
